Job Description: This position will collaborate cross-functionally and work tightly with product management, front-end developers, and our Chief Strategist to craft intuitive and user-centric digital experiences. Our goal is to ensure this team member brings not only experience and expertise to the role, but that they also create ease and accessibility around complex processes through intelligent design choices and well-structured information architecture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research to understand user behaviors, needs, and motivations.

  • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize and communicate design concepts.

  • Design intuitive and seamless user interactions across digital platforms.

  • Conduct usability testing sessions to gather feedback and iterate designs.

  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business goals.

  • Ensure designs comply with accessibility standards and seek to provide an inclusive user experience.

Qualifications

  • Experienced in User Research: Proficiency in conducting qualitative and quantitative user research methodologies.

  • SME on UI/UX Tools: Mastery of design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar software.

  • Skilled in Wireframing and Prototyping: Experience creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using tools like InVision, Axure, or Balsamiq.

  • Knowledge of Interaction Design: Strong understanding of interaction design principles and ability to create intuitive user interfaces.

  • Exceptional Asset Design: Comfort with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or equivalent preferred.

  • Creative and Cross-Functional Design Thinking: Proficient in applying design thinking methodologies to solve complex challenges.

  • Superior Communication: Excellent interpersonal communication and collaboration skills to effectively articulate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.

  • Next Level Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks appropriately. 

Must have a strong portfolio showcasing relevant design projects and processes.
